Platemark Podcast: The Society of American Graphic Artists
Podcast published: Monday, January 12, 2026
Platemark is an independent podcast about art and ideas with the goal of dispelling the idea of the impenetrable museum on the hill and inaccessible curators working in ivory towers.
In the featured episode, Ann Shafer meets with three printmakers who are members of the Society of American Graphic Artists (SAGA), a 110-year-old printmaking collective based in New York City. Esther Schwalb, DeAnn Prosia, and Diego Briceno share their perspectives on SAGA’s impact on printmaking and their own journeys as artists.
