The Housatonic Museum of Art is free and open to the public!

The Housatonic Museum of Art follows the CT State Housatonic calendar. Therefore, the HMA hours are closed on all weekends and state holidays. CT State Housatonic and the Housatonic Museum of Art may also close for inclement weather.

Please call 203-332-5000 to ensure that CT State Housatonic is open on the day that you plan to visit. Due to frequent rotation, the Burt Chernow Galleries may be closed during regular museum hours.

The Burt Chernow Galleries will be closed for installation during the following days: Monday, February 24, 2025 – Thursday, March 13, 2025.

Please join us on Thursday, March 13, 2025 from 5:30pm – 7pm for the opening reception for the faculty and staff exhibition, "Inertia."
