The Housatonic Museum of Art is free and open to the public!

The Housatonic Museum of Art follows the CT State Housatonic calendar. Therefore, the HMA hours are closed on all weekends and state holidays. CT State Housatonic and the Housatonic Museum of Art may also close for inclement weather.

Please call 203-332-5000 to ensure that CT State Housatonic is open on the day that you plan to visit. Due to frequent rotation, the Burt Chernow Galleries may be closed during regular museum hours.

The Burt Chernow Galleries will be closed for installation from Monday, April 14, 2025 – Wednesday, April 30, 2025. The doors will be open on Thursday, May 1 for the soft opening of the CT State Housatonic Student Exhibition.

Please join us on Monday, May 5, 2025 from 5:30pm – 7pm for the opening reception.

There is still plenty of art to see on campus, including the show Sweet Grass: Dancing with My Ancestors, featuring the photographs of Afro-Indigenous artist, Kim Weston, and other displays.
