HMA Receives $15,000 Catalyst Grant from the Frankenthaler Climate Initiative

The Housatonic Museum of Art  is honored to have been selected to receive an award through the Frankenthaler Climate Initiative, a grantmaking program established by the Helen Frankenthaler Foundation in collaboration with Environment & Culture Partners and RMI to catalyze climate action in the visual arts.

Funds will be used to upgrade the lighting system in the Burt Chernow Galleries to a fully integrated LED system with the assistance of a Catalyst Grant.  This project will help us create the proper ambiance for our visitors while protecting the artwork and reducing our carbon footprint.

Thanks to the Helen Frankenthaler Foundation’s #FrankenthalerClimate Initiative!
