Limited Edition Mora-Inspired Print by Thomas Shelford
Bring home part of Mora's legacy today!
As part of the exhibition, Making His Mark in Connecticut: The Creative Process of F. Luis Mora, the Housatonic Museum of Art commissioned the local artist, Thomas Shelford, to create a special print. This edition of fifty (50) etchings, titled Visiting Mora at the Housatonic Museum, was inspired by the aesthetic of F. Luis Mora’s sensitively rendered portraits and the architecture of the Housatonic campus. The image conveys themes of continuity and the joy of learning, with references to CT State Housatonic's iconic sculpture collection.
You're invited to join Mora's legacy and support the Housatonic Museum of Art by bringing one of these very special prints home.
