Opening October 30, 2025, "My Story, Our Lives" is an exhibit of 50 pieces of art created by students in Bridgeport and their peers in Ukraine as part of Creative Connections’ Global Voices-ArtLink program in 2025.

Join us for an enlightening virtual conversation about the late printmaker, author and mentor, Ruth Leaf, who was a member of both SAGA & Atelier 17.

After a successful career in branding and digital marketing, Ramon Peralta has returned to his artistic roots, creating vibrant, deeply personal paintings that celebrate his Dominican-American heritage. His work explores themes of identity and belonging, bringing the culture, history, and spirit of the Dominican Republic to life.

Everyone is welcome to attend the opening reception for the newest exhibition at the Housatonic Museum of Art, "Ink and Impressions: 110 Years of the Society of American Graphic Artists." Meet many of the artists participating in this anniversary celebration while enjoying appetizers and drinks.

​​The Society of American Graphic Artists (SAGA) celebrates its 110th anniversary by showcasing the diversity and daring of its members’ art making. The 90th annual members exhibition features 150 hand-pulled prints representing a broad range of techniques and subjects, created by SAGA artists from across the country

Sylvester Poli’s Palace and Majestic theatres both opened in 1922. Long the center of downtown Bridgeport’s social life, the theatres closed in the 1970s. Jay Misencik and Geralene Valentine have been tracing this history beginning in 1991 through documentary photographs and recorded stories.

Join us for the opening reception of "Rooted in Community: Portraits of Everyday Heroes" featuring painting and photography by local student artists. Free & open to the public; refreshments will be served.

Every person has a unique strength to offer the world, and the greatest gift is sharing that power with the next generation. Over the course of four months, student artists learned important lessons from everyday heroes who impact Bridgeport’s communities and beyond.
